When I first saw Bacchus as Autumn, I was originally more interested in the concept (because I love mythology.) The colors are subtle; the basic theme is white and ivory, and they weren't very striking at first glance. Bacchus was immediately a draw, because of the role he plays in the tattoo I have on my back. The environment of the room was stark, cold, and rather hospital-like; it was quiet, it was clean, and I was alone. It seemed almost reverent in this way, and that was also one of the draws of the piece.
